The dates and ports of call chosen may be adjusted with crew input, for instance if everyone wished, we could substitute the Caribbean for Antarctica and the Panama Canal rather than Cape Horn, but in all cases certain areas have to be transited at certain times of year. Web sites and TV programs are a good source for information on the beauty and delights of proposed destinations.
